Calibration is an essential part of any quality assured system. Without regular calibration the performance of instrumentation cannot be relied upon, and this uncertainty impacts directly on your business. Furthermore, the calibration process itself must meet certain criteria and traceability if it is to be of benefit.

IRC offer the calibration of instrumentation for measuring electrical, high voltage,temperature, humidity, pressure, torque, dimensional metrology and mass. All calibrations are traceable to National Standards and are in accordance with procedures laid down in BS EN ISO/IEC17025:2017 This standard is the most important thing when getting calibration. Many laboratories or "calibration houses" claim to work to the requirements of ISO17025:2005 but are NOT accredited. Fast turnaround of equipment can be assured by use of our automated calibration and certification systems. Records are stored electronically, thus enabling the facility to provide statistics and historical information.

IRC has the relevant capabilities and experience to offer a full calibration package management service. For instance, we can take ownership of the process instrumentation element of a site outage, shutdown, project or changeover and offer varying levels of management capability.
